Expanding existing knowledge on the environmental impact of resource extraction, we examine the spatial and scalar implications of lithium mining. In this performance lecture, we build on the space, and techniques established by MINEFIELDS (Li-ion), presenting an interrogation
of this ‘savour’ resource and it’s extraction landscape (physical, political, ideological), further elaborating on alternatives to dominant extractivist socio-political narratives.
